Established back in 2009, Mittz started her DJ career in Edmonton, AB,
Canada. Catching on quickly and learning the technical aspects of mixing
with ease, over the years she has built a reputation by pushing her
boundaries and always delivering a hard hitting, energetic set every time she
hits the decks. As her skills, style and performances grew, she decided to
take her career to the neighbouring city of Calgary, AB.

In her early years, break beats and dubstep was the main flavour of her
musical taste, most recently taking a keen interest in the mixing styles of Hip
Hop, but her major influence always being drum and bass.

Playing countless shows and festivals all across western and central
Canada, in 2017 she landed her first international gig at the Boogaloo Art
Car and Music Festival in California. She has worked with a number of crews
across Alberta including 403dnb, Funk Bunker, Break Beat Dojo and Girls on
Decks, to name a few. One of the original members of the Dnb Girls crew, she
has continued to gain attention all across North America.

Smooth transitions, heavy hitting bass lines and melodic rolling vibes
describe this talented and versatile DJ's signature sound. Always playing the

Siofra McComb

Siofra McComb is the head of international sales and marketing for !K7, which has grown from being a video production company in the ‘80s to a versatile record label and hub for a broad yet selective range of music. Today it provides artist management for artists such as Tricky, Lafawndah, and Mykki Blanco; label services; marketing; and sales and distribution management for a diverse array of label partners. Home to the beloved DJ-Kicks compilation series, the !K7 Label Group also includes in-house labels AUS, Strut and 7K!, each catering to its own niche within the independent musical landscape. Prior to that she worked on campaigns for artists such as BADBADNOTGOOD, DJ Shadow, Run The Jewels, Nosaj Thing, Roosevelt, and J Dilla.

Allison Myggland

Allison has been involved with the grassroots music community, from Alberta to Atlantic Canada, for over fifteen years. In her current role as Program Manager with Alberta Music, Allison's duties include curating and delivering a series of educational programming for musicians and music industry professionals, consulting one-on-one with members, and executing the industry development strategies set forth by the board. Prior to her time with Alberta Music, Allison worked as an independent industry advisor, researcher, and consultant, sharing her knowledge with musicians, industry professionals, labels, venues, and industry organizations all across Canada.

Her 2017 report, commissioned by the East Coast Music Association, Music Canada, and Music Canada Live, Striking A New A-Chord: Recommendations for the Growth and Development of Canada’s East Coast Music Industry, directed a spotlight onto the current state of the music sector in Atlantic Canada and offers deep insight into the conditions faced by musicians and industry professionals.

Mother Mary

Mother Mary is Alex Naylor, an organizing and creative force in Calgary’s electronic music scene, and far beyond. Mother Mary, chosen as a queer reinterpretation of their family’s Catholic background, sees Naylor translate their passionate community activism, social work, and grassroots mindset into a captivating onstage performance. Dynamic, sparse, aggressive, downtempo – Mother Mary hits every possible note.

DJ Molly Fi


She’s fearless, she’s innovative and she’s influential. Who is she? Her friends call her MollyFi (AKA Krista Thibodeau) and she has been a mainstay in the Calgary Electronic Music scene since the early 00's. Dubbed Calgary’s first lady of Breaks, founder of the Girls on Decks DJ Collective (launched in 2003), Molly has spent the better part of two decades breaking down the walls for fellow female and nonbinary DJs and performers. Incorporating FeMC’s, Vocalists, B-Girls, Rappers and even burlesque dancers, Girls On Decks has become an important and influential movement in Western Canada. 2013 saw the launch of True Colors; a night solely dedicated to the artists within the LGBTQ community. Girls on Decks celebrates a weekly Friday night residency at Broken City Social Club in Calgary which features a rotating roster of Calgary's finest performers.

Over the years, Molly has been invited to play alongside internationally renowned acts such as A.Skillz, The Freestylers (UK), Featurecast (UK), Neon Steve, Fort Knox Five, Miami’s Queen of Bass Baby Anne as well as IKONICA, Dunks (The Funkhunters) Malente (Ger), Esette, Jon Delerious, Small-Town DJ's, Skylar Love, Erica Dee, Freq Nasty, Deekline, Annalyze, B.Traits, Ursula 1000, Myagi, Kytami and Bassnectar, at renowned events such as Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver Pride Festivals, Fozzy Fest, Peak a Boom as well as the Calgary Burleque Festival just to name a few.

2018 is shaping up nicely for Molly already as she was awarded Runner up in the "Best of Calgary" Best DJ Award, she will be playing in Invermere BC this July for Vibrant Festival and you can catch her headlining Winnipeg's, Memetic festival coming up in August. Summer is huge and its just getting started - oh and lets not forget your weekly fix of Molly over at Calgary's legendary Broken City.

Councillor Scott McKeen


Scott McKeen is in his second term as the councillor for Ward 6, which encompasses the greater downtown and some of Edmonton's most historic neighbourhoods. Prior to his election in 2013, McKeen was a reporter and columnist with The Edmonton Journal, covering everything from civic politics to crime. He is known as an advocate for mental health, reconciliation and evidence-based policy decisions.



Blaine Kingcott, under his DJ and producer alias, Metafloor; founded the Sub Chakra crew over five years ago. Making waves and relentlessly hustling proper sound system culture ever since. Never one to limit himself to one facet of the music profession, Kingcott is well known throughout the music community for his tireless work as a DJ, producer, and promoter. Artistically his roots stretch deep into the dungeons of the 140 BPM realm, though recently have seen growth and expansion into new territory, exploring the sounds of half-time, footwork and jungle. His productions have seen support from labels far and wide including Aufect Platinum, Modern Ruin, Black Tuna, and Mat the Alien’s Really Good Recordings. Additionally, his skills as a selector have carried him to the stages of Bass Coast, Shambhala, Astral Harvest and more. With these experiences further boosting his levels of inspiration. Wherever Metafloor may be found, his audience can trust to also find newness, the “meta,” channeling sound, not hype.
