Urbanist, Music Appreciator and Cultural Enthusiast, you can find Sheena Jardine-Olade A.K.A. Donna Dada daily dedicated to creating more vibrant and interesting communities.
She has taken a love for music, writing, photography and networking and has applied it to various projects such as manage editing local music and lifestyle magazine Freq, co-founding seminal dubstep and techno nights, Modern Math and Techno Anonymous, while djing across Canada, the US and Europe. By day, she creates connections for contemporary live arts theatre company and cultural think tank, Theatre Junction and Indigenous speaker series REDx Talks, while engaging people across the city of Calgary for Citizen Engagement firm Intelligent Futures. At night, you can find her supporting her many talented friends across #YYC.
With a newly acquired master’s in Urban Planning she hopes to apply her love for music and culture within a city context.
Other interests include: skateboarding photography, fashion, post apocalyptic movies, interesting and new ways to engage the disengaged while dreaming, daily, about cooking the perfect Trinidadian Roti.
